Local Events, Tours and Area Information For Rancho Santa Fe Residents To Enjoy! 

The population of Rancho Santa Fe is about 4,200 people. The total number of households is 1,453. It is estimated that the maximum total population of 6,500 people may occur by approximately 2007. 

With an average residential lot size in excess of two acres, rural Rancho Santa Fe is distinguished by its open spaces. Sidewalks and street lights are banned from residential areas. Winding driveways lead to traditionally styled Spanish, Mediterranean or Ranch style homes flanked by fragrant, citrus and native foliage. Elaborate landscaping protects the privacy integral to the Rancho Santa Fe way of life.

Family Movie Night*

Location: Lawn in front of The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe
Time: Festivities start at 6:30 pm, movie starts at sun down
Fee: FREE to members
Enjoy an old fashioned night out under the stars. Grab your low-backed chairs and blankets and head over to The Inn's front lawn for a family-friendly film on the big screen. The Inn will serve free popcorn and refreshments as well as offering a heartier fare for sale. This is a free event so don't miss out!

Location: The Herrick Room in the Community Center
Time: 2:00 - 6:00pm
Fee: FREE
The Rancho Santa Fe Community Center and an independent financial advisor are hosting an exclusive, free service to provide a critical tool to help protect your child. Parents will have the opportunity to have a photograph of their child taken with the technology to provide an aged picture, in addition to documentation of their child's fingerprints and other vital statistics. Please come by and help protect our community. 

Amazing Rancho Race 

Sunday, November 8
Location: Community Center and around Rancho Santa Fe
Time: 11:00am - 2:30 pm
Fee: $25 per family (up to 4 people). Additional members $5 per person.
This NEW event is something you don't want to miss! Spend the day racing around Rancho Santa Fe with your family. Teams will compete against each other to figure out clues, race, and complete team building activities and crazy tasks at each checkpoint and so much more! There will be contests, prizes, t-shirts, and lunch provided after the race. Dress your family in a team costume and you could be the big winner. Sign up today! 

American Girl Trip in Los Angeles 

Wednesday, November 11 (Veteran's day holiday from school)
Location: American Girl Place Los Angeles
Time: Depart Community Center at 8:00am, return at approximately 5:00pm

Ages: 4 years and up
Enjoy a mother-daughter day at the American Girl Place Los Angeles! The day includes roundtrip luxury motorcoach transportation, hosted group lunch at American Girl Cafe, reserved appointments at the Doll Hair Salon and Photo Studio, and Personal Shopper assistance (get your holiday shopping started!) Hair salon and Photo studio fees not included. 

Holiday Workshop 

Saturday, December 5
Location: Great Room in Community Center
Time: Session 1: 9:00am - 10:30 am
Session 2: 11:00am - 12:30pm
Fee: $50 sign up for either session
This holiday season is fast approaching and the race to buy presents for family and loved ones that come from the heart. Our annual Holiday Workshop will give your children the opportunity to make hand-crafted gifts for those special people in their lives. Participants will have their choice of a variety of age-appropriate gifts to make. Free gift-wrapping included with each gift! 

Rancho Days
This year’s Rancho Days starts on Friday, October 9 and continues throughout the week with activities and events. Stay tuned for detailed information on this fun community event which celebrates Historic Rancho Santa Fe!
